By the time we become adults our creativity, passion and zest for life is significantly diminished. We have made up our minds about what is possible, who we are, what we can achieve, and how we will operate in life to survive it. We have limits on how much we will love, how much we will give, how much we will trust, how much we will play, how much we will laugh, how much we will lose, how much we will earn, how much we will dare. Underneath it all, our lives are dominated by fear and driven to avoid suffering and hurt at all cost. Deep down we know we are living a fraction of our lives. There is no newness to our lives. The real question is best put by Bob Marley. “When you turn your eyes within, are you satisfied by the life you are living?”
